Advanced Combat Tactics for Arc Raiders

Positioning is Everything

High ground gives you better sightlines and makes you harder to hit. Always look for elevated positions before engaging. Use doorways and corners as choke points to funnel enemies. Never fight in the open if you have any other option.

Weapon Switching Technique

Switching weapons is faster than reloading in most cases. When your magazine runs dry mid fight, swap to your secondary instead of reloading. Practice quick weapon switches until they become muscle memory. This alone will win you fights you would otherwise lose.

Engagement Timing

Not every fight needs to happen. Evaluate whether an engagement is worth the ammo, health, and time before pulling the trigger. If the enemy has not spotted you, consider whether the fight benefits you. Sometimes the best tactical move is to let them pass.

Crowd Control Strategies

When facing multiple enemies, never try to fight them all at once. Use the environment to separate groups. Bait enemies through narrow passages. Focus fire on the most dangerous target first. Grenades and area denial tools are invaluable against groups.
