Loot Zones Guide for Arc Raiders
Complete guide to loot zones in Arc Raiders. Understand zone colors, risk levels, loot quality, and the best zones for farming specific materials and items.
Loot Zone Color System
Arc Raiders uses a color coded system to indicate loot zone risk and reward. White zones have the lowest danger and basic loot. Green zones offer moderate rewards with manageable threats. Blue zones contain good loot behind tougher enemies. Red zones are high risk, high reward areas with the best drops in the game. Plan your raids around the zone color that matches your current gear level.
White Zones: Beginner Territory
White zones are where new raiders should start. The enemies are manageable even with basic gear and the loot, while not spectacular, provides the foundation for early progression. Use white zones to learn the mechanics, build your material reserves, and upgrade your crafting stations before pushing into harder areas.
Green and Blue Zones: Mid Game Territory
Once your gear reaches uncommon to rare quality, start pushing into green and blue zones. These areas have better material drops and higher rarity items. The enemy density and difficulty increase but remain manageable with decent weapons and armor. Most of your mid game farming will happen in these zones.
Red Zones: End Game Territory
Red zones demand the best gear and sharp gameplay skills. The enemies here can destroy poorly equipped raiders quickly. The rewards include epic and legendary drops, rare crafting materials, and unique items found nowhere else. Approach red zones with a team or with complete confidence in your solo abilities. The loot is worth the danger for prepared raiders.
Zone Specific Loot Tables
Each specific zone within a map has its own loot table beyond the color rating. Some zones specialize in weapon components while others focus on armor materials or consumable ingredients. Learn which zones drop what you need so you can target your farming efficiently. The Arc Raiders AI database tracks drop rates and locations for every item.
Zone Rotation Strategy
Loot respawns on a timer in Arc Raiders zones. Experienced farmers rotate between multiple zones rather than waiting in one area for respawns. Plan a circuit that hits three or four high value zones with travel time between them matching the respawn cooldown. This rotation maximizes your loot per hour significantly.
